The location is really strategic, you can go to quite a number of places just by walking. The hostel is very clean and tidy, the staff are helpful and willing to help if you have any queries.

The rate of this hostel is good, the location is near to Jonker Walk and also it's situated beside the river. On the morning I can have a leisure walk around the hostel to the riverside. The most I like is the free WIFI,free wifi some hotel won't provide, even those big hotel. Other things I like is we have to remove our shoes,so that I don't have to prepare bathroom sandals.

Very clean, really bright living room, drinks for sale though I didn't buy, clean bed, clean toilet, toilet tissue provided, nice boss, Melaka town map provided (highlighting the tourist attractions) and I could simply walk around
No hand soap provided upstairs, aircond on but I can't feel it - only fans (in the cheapest one), one of the toilet doors couldn't be locked, one water tap damaged

I viewed the reviews on here with a level of suspicion, but was proven cynical. This place is great! We arrived really late (1am) after a delayed flight, and our cab had trouble finding it - no problem - a friendly staff member cycled down to the local cafe and collected us with a big smile. The rooms are small but newly decorated and fitted, functional, the place has a very happy vibe, and it is kept scrupulously clean. Great location in the heart of Chinatown and backing onto the peaceful river. Fantastic!
Nothing, but note this is a budget hotel with shared bathrooms and small rooms / no windows (but plenty of air con) - and these 'drawbacks' are reflected in the ridiculously low price.

- the staff there are kind and helpful - venue really good cuz it is in the middle of the town and beside river - creativity design and low budget - got bicycle to rent also, really convenient !
- the shared bathroom (the volume of water quite low)

The design of the guest house and of the location(beside malacca river).
No car parking available and the room is a bit small.

Even though it is a small wooden compartment room with fan, it is not too hot in the room.
Need to control children's stay, they were like a non stop alarm clock for my day time rest.

Kent and other staff are very friendly and helpful to us. Thank you very much.
The standard room was too small for 3 person.
